Live Music: Old Blind Dogs

Fiddler and guitarist Jonny Hardie was here last year with Bruce Macgregor; this time he's come in his capacity as founding member of one of the original Scottish roots revival bands, Old Blind Dogs. Their Highland tour follows on their annual tour of the US and Europe where they're always more than welcome. In the words of www.folking.com: '... A seriously rocking crew ... if this is your first introduction to the Dogs I'm sure you'll be left panting for more!"

Christmas Eve

Many Hotels, Restaurants and Bars are open with local events going on. Houses, public buildings, trees & streets are decorated with festive lights. There are churches of several denominations around Loch Ness that offer traditional Christmas Eve services with Carol singing and as always they extend a very warm welcome to visitors at this special time of year. Fortify the spirit in a different way by taking the time to appreciate the spectacular natural beauty of Loch Ness and the surrounding woodlands, forests, moors and mountains.

Afternoon Tea Dance with Jim Terry
3pm to 5pm in the BLAIRBEG VILLAGE HALL , Drumnadrochit.
Jim Terry has been a professional musician since 1944 playing Saxaphone, Flute and Clarinet. In 1955, Jim played with the GLEN MILLER BAND under the leadership of Ray McKinley ... During his professional career as a recording studio musician, Jim has backed some famous artists such as Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis , Lena Horn and Dione Warwick to name but a few.
Jim has been resident in the Drumnadrochit area for over four years now and is looking forward to performing for you all in the Blairbeg Village Hall.
Admission Charge £3.00 per person (payable at Door) which includes Tea plus a selection of Home Baking.
